Behind the Scenes - Degree Show Prep.

For the last few weeks I have been preparing for my Degree shows. Here are some behind the scenes photos of what was involved in the preparation.

It was decided that for the London degree show I was going to showcase my photos presented in the form of a light-box. It became apparent that purchasing such a thing was incredibly expensive and out of my price range. So we constructed them ourselves. In the coming weeks I will be writing up the steps we took to create these light-boxes. Giving you all an insight into how it all came together.

In the meantime I have also provided you with some photos of the planning stage as a taster of whats to come

Welcome and thank you for stopping by

I would just like to welcome you all to my journal

I will be using this platform as method of showing little bits of what’s involved in my photographic practice and the process of my image making. I will be using this space as way of giving back to the photography community.

I will be posting behind the scenes content, techniques associated with my practice, both in-camera and in post processing, sharing the things I read and watch that influence my photography, and much more.

I aim to post once a week, keeping my posts to once a week will allow me to concentrate on putting out quality content. To start the ball rolling over the following week I will be documenting the culmination of my degree shows from the 25th of June to the 2nd July.

Thank you for stopping by. I look forward to the sharing little bits of what’s involved with my personal practice.
